This policy explains what atriptony.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only.

Last updated: 16 August 2026.

Who runs this site

A Trip To New York (atriptony.com) is operated by Samer Alqaisi. For any question about this policy or about data held about you, write to [email protected].

What is collected

Server logs

The web server records the standard information any web server records: your IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and your browser’s user-agent string. These logs are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and are retained for a limited period.

Analytics

This site may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. It sets cookies and reports aggregated usage. IP addresses are truncated by Google before storage.

Analytics is only loaded after consent where consent is legally required.

You can opt out entirely with Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

Advertising

This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

You can control personalised advertising at Google’s Ads Settings and opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before any non-essential cookie is set. That choice can be changed at any time using the Cookie Settings control in the footer.

The contact form

The contact form collects the name, email address and message you enter, and sends them to us by email. That is the only use. The message is not added to a mailing list, is not shared, and is not used for anything except replying to you.

Some links to hotel, flight and ticket search services carry an affiliate identifier. If you follow one and make a booking, the operator may pay a commission. Those services set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, and this site does not receive your booking details.

What is not collected

There are no accounts on this site and no logins. There is no newsletter. Nothing you read here is tied to a profile we hold, and no data is sold to anyone for any purpose.

Third parties

The following may receive data when you use this site:

  • Google — Analytics, AdSense, Fonts and the consent platform
  • Travelpayouts and Booking.com — where you use a search widget or follow an affiliate link
  • Google Maps and OpenStreetMap — where a page embeds a map
  • YouTube (in no-cookie mode) — where a page embeds a video
  • SMTP2GO — which relays contact form submissions by email

Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies of its own. Cookies present are set by the third parties above, principally for analytics, advertising and consent storage.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking them will not break this site; it is a static site and nothing on it requires a cookie to work.

Your rights

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. If the CCPA applies to you, you have the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of any sale — and no personal information is sold.

To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. There is very little data to return, since this site holds no accounts, but requests are answered.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Any material change to this policy will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
